- Dr. Annie Chemmanur is a physician with several years of clinical experience in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She is currently serving as staff gastroenterologist at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA; at Marlborough Hospital in Marlborough, MA; and at Southborough Medical Center in Southborough, MA. She has published several research articles in the area of digestive and liver diseases, presented research papers at top national conferences, participated in multi-center clinical trials, and continues to maintain a career-long interest in this area.
- She completed her Fellowship in Gastroenterology from the University of Connecticut. She also completed an additional year of fellowship training in Advanced Hepatology at the University of Connecticut, supported by the prestigious AASLD/Schering Liver Fellowship Award (one of only ten winners each year nationwide). She completed her internal medicine residency from the University of Massachusetts, and is Board Certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.
